The school in which I completed all aspects of my professional internship was an older school, with a large student body. Located in Thornlie, it had around 760 students enrolled this year, and this number constantly is growing.
My placement was in a year six classroom which comprised of thirty students, and there were more boys in my class than girls. I would define the professional environment at the school as highly supportive and collaborative, not just within the year group I was working in, but across all year levels. This made my professional internship a highly positive and enriching experience.
